Privacy Policy

Trisway is a picture-guessing game. You can play without an account and without giving us any personal information. If you choose to create an account to back up your progress, this page explains what we collect. There are no ads.
What stays on your device
If you play without an account, your progress, score, hints, language and sound settings, and the game content you have downloaded are stored only on your device. We never receive them. If you delete the app or use "Reset Progress" in Settings, they are erased.
If you create an account (optional)
An account lets you back up your progress and get it back on another phone. You sign in with Google or Apple; we never see your password.
When you sign in we receive from Google or Apple an account identifier, your email address and your name (Apple may give you a private relay email address). We also save whether you told us you are 13 to 17 or 18 and over (never your date of birth), whether a parent or guardian agreed, and the version and date of the Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted.
We then store a copy of your progress: the questions you solved, attempts, hints used, scores and times, and the hints you have left. We use it only to back up and restore your progress. We do not use it for advertising and we never sell it.
This data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, on servers that may be outside Colombia. We keep it until you delete your account.
Anonymous usage data
To improve the game, we collect anonymous usage events: when the app opens; when a season or question is shown; whether an answer was correct, how many attempts and how long it took; when a hint is used; and when a season is completed. Each event includes the question and season identifiers, difficulty, your language, your platform (Android or iOS) and the app version. If you have an account, we also record that you signed in, with which provider, and whether it worked; never your name, email or account identifier.
These events are tied to a random anonymous identifier stored on your device. It is not linked to your name or to any account, and we cannot tell who you are from it. We do not use advertising identifiers, cookies or tracking across other apps or websites.
We use PostHog to receive and analyse these events. Their servers are located in the United States. We keep the data for no longer than 12 months.
Game content
The app downloads game content (questions and pictures) from our content server so you can play offline later. Like any web server, it can see your IP address when you download; we do not use it to identify you.
Children and teenagers
Playing without an account is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information. Accounts are only for people aged 13 and over, and people aged 13 to 17 need the agreement of a parent or guardian to create one. If you are a parent or guardian and want an account closed or its data deleted, contact us.
Your choices and rights
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings > Account > Delete account) or by following the instructions at https://trisway.laurensfinc.app/delete-account. This erases your account and your progress backup from our servers.
You can also ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your authorisation, by writing to privacy@laurensfinc.app. We will answer within 15 business days. Please include the app version and platform; the anonymous usage data is not linked to you, so we may ask for a little help to find it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local privacy law, such as Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and its date. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
